The wet desert four day hike
14/4/10 - 17/4/10
Whenever winter ends and spring begins there is a short season in which the breath taking landscapes of the Judean desert are joined with pouring fountains, reservoirs and pools.
In this hike we explore the two most impressive canyons of the Judean desert – *Ashalim and Darage', travel through the Ein Bokek waterfall, Peres pools and fresh water springs on the Dead see shore.
In between the walls of the canyons the revived desert is found, extraordinary flowers, plants, hyraxes, ibexes and many species of colorful birds all combine to form a "once in a year" event.
Join us on this four day hike and take the opportunity to reveal the blooming wet desert for the last time this year.
* Both canyons are filled with water and require swimming.
